Jacob Noakes - 1823
The Examination of Jacob Noakes now chargeable to Middx (to wit) who on his oath Saith that many years ago being then a singleman he lived himself in the parish of Windlesham in the County of Surrey - as a Yearly Servant to several persons and in each of whose house he lived upwards of a year and has done no act since whereby to gain any other Settlement. That he was married to his present wife Elizabeth at Hanwell by Banns by whom he has living 6 children William about 14 years, Mary about 13, Richard about 9, Sarah about 8, Prudence about 7 years and Henry about 2 years.
